The profile of the hamlet frames in one hollow or plain mountains with you were to the north, less and less used.
The development of a mine of lead in the outskirts of an old woman village named The Cordobilla, gave place to the name of Saint's Mine Quiteria.
In the natural ambience, it is mentioned in the Book of the Hunt of Alfonso XI, some interest places for the practice of the hunting major, like the Portezuelo, to the north of the term; the saw of Benamira (today of Altamira); Of Cordoba, the gullet and the river San Martín; the Estena corner. Of these places, some were good for to hunt bears and jabalíes, this is, to place the navies, and others for from them, to give the vocerías or beatings.

Apart from the hunting, of the cut of firewoods, of the coalman, they install to themselves inns of beehives that are like more primitive way of to exploit these grounds in the Middle Ages. The beekeeper was the hero of the colonization in these rural grounds of The Rockrose. There is some place name referred to them: Apiary, the Inn of Bobbin, the Inn of Cold Rio.
In the beginnings of the S. XVI, the life in these Towns is calmed and the hamlets have spent the motivated crisis pro the banditry of the golfines and the pillages of the feudal laymen, bringing in in one epoch of peace and consolidation (Fte.-Texto Diputacion to see link)
